Installing a Network Printer  

 1) Go to Start/Printers and Faxes.




 2)  On the left side of the screen, under the Printer Tasks, choose Add A Printer.



 3)  The Add Printer Wizard will appear, click Next.

 4)  On the next screen, choose to install a Network Printer




 5)  The next screen will prompt you for a printer path.  A printer path is a network location the specifies a certain printer by the       server it is on and the name of the printer.  When the path is entered, click Next.  For a list of all public printer paths on the       network, click here.



 6)  The next screen verifies the name and location of the printer you installed, if it is the correct one, click Finish.

 To set your default printer: In the printers folder right click on the printer you want as the default then click on set as default.
