• How do I format a CD-RW / CD-R with DLA?
  1) Insert a CD-RW or CD-R into the CD recorder drive.
  2) Open My Computer, right-click on the CD drive.
  - make sure "use with DLA" is checked on the option menu.
  - select format under the DLA section in the option menu.
  3) Type in a label for the CD and choose full erase (first time you format a CD) or quick erase (after the initial format, if desired), click Start.
  4) The format takes about 20 minutes to complete, but when finished allows you to add & delete files to the CD media on-the-fly like a floppy disk or a hard drive..
• How do I create a shortcut on my Desktop?
  Right click on a blank spot in the location you would like to place the shortcut, click on New, then click Shortcut. When the new window appears click on Browse, go to wherever the program or folder is and select it then click Open. Click Next, type a name for the shortcut and Click Finish.
• What programs can I use to make a web page?
  Microsoft Word - Open Microsoft Word and begin to create the page, when you want to save it, go to File/Save as Web Page. Type a name for the page and save it. Your main page should be named "index.htm".
  
  Microsoft Front Page - Start\Programs\Microsoft Front Page. Click on File\New to open up a new page and begin designing. Save your main page as "index.htm".
  
  Microsoft SharePoint Designer - Start\(All)Programs\Microsoft Office\Microsoft SharePoint Designer. Click on File\New to open up a new page and begin designing. Save your main page as "index.htm".
  
  Save or copy your files to your "W" drive.
